Finally got my hair done on Friday. Though I’m still in tears over my original stylist OhTee moving to LA, I must say my blind date with Britta was an incredible success. She was a delight to watch, dancing and singing while she worked. Britta was so stoked about the red-to-black fade that she did on my bangs that it was impossible for me to not love what she’d done! I think this is the closest I’ll come to the ombre hair style Billiam is so adamantly against. (Not because he’s against it, but because so many iterations of it come out looking lazy.)
Britta was more excited about my Cho Chang Hallowe’en costume than I’d expect any arbitrary stylist to be. She also got big hair happy and kinda fluffed it up more than I’d like. I was beginning to feel like a Barbizon model, but she was so enthralled in playing with my hair that I let her leave me with Texas-sized volume.
OhTee recommended her because of her adeptness with dye, but she loved my natural hair color, which is a very plain black-brown. She called other stylists over to rave, “Look at her natural hair color, isn’t it beautiful?” It’s unexpected, but nice, to hear a professional go ga-ga over what is essentially your genes.

(Never had any intentions of posting my face on a non-personal style style blog, but I guess with hair updates, I’m kind of stuck.)
